They also fail to realize or admit is we were DEEP in recession, which was a result of policies pre-Bush, many of which were liberal policies. When you reach rock bottom, RATIONAL THOUGHT, ECONOMICS and SCIENCE dictates the only other direction is up. Additionally, the economy didn't begin to show signs of improvement until AFTER the Republicans took control of the house. Coincidence? I don't know, but it's a consideration. Same applies to they taking the senate in 2014.

What they also fail to realize or admit is the recession was historically long. This would seem to imply their policies were heavy on failure. Additionally, we never fully recovered despite historically low interest rates.

Baby boomers are as young as 52-70. Those forced out early cannot get SSI, hard to find any job (old) etc. They also have to buy health care (if not sick) and future SSI earnings are impacted. It doesn't count a lot of things. Lots of people are under-employed as well, for which Obamacare is a contributor. What's most telling is median household income adjusted for expenses and inflation.
