Armed Forces Show Overwhelming Support for Obama

Foreign policy, military funding and plans for U.S. troops abroad are providing plenty of chewy campaign fodder for President Barack Obama and his GOP rival, Mitt Romney. But fundraising reports shed light on what the armed forces think about the the candidates.

Former Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul received significant support from the military for his strong stance on bringing troops home, and that briefly continued even after Romney pulled ahead as the clear GOP candidate.

Now, though, the military's support has shifted toward Obama. Romney has consistently received little financial backing from military donors

The OP's link makes no mention of the Armed Services as far as I can tell. In fact, here is the title and first paragraph:

Oct. 15: Distracted by Polling Noise

Monday was an orderly day in the polls.

National polls showed a modestly favorable trend for President Obama, allowing him to gain slightly in our forecast. (Mr. Obama’s chances of winning the Electoral College are now 66.0 percent, according to the FiveThirtyEight model, up from 63.4 percent on Sunday.) But the movement toward him was not anything extraordinary, serving only to offset some of the decline he experienced in the polls late last week, and to bring the national polls more in line with state-by-state surveys.

Seems we are really having a very silly silly season this year. Chalk it up to desperation I guess.

How many votes divided into how many states does the entire MILITARY vote actually mean, anyway?

Not many would be my guess.
