I don't think it's racist, but I do think it's political. When somebody commits a crime and gets away with it due to this stupid policy, it's hard to find another reason why democrats are so ardent in their support.

The reason why sanctuary cities are racist is because it gives special legal protection based upon race that no other group is provided. Like if a an American citizen doesn't pay their taxes, they are not given any special protections based upon their race or any other cultural aspect.

The other part about Sanctuary Cities that is racist is that it's about replacing Anglo Voters and Black Voters.
