It's not that they are Ignorant. The Simply choose to believe that all those failed attempts do not mean that eventually someone could get it right. Belief that Socialism/Communism can work on a large scale requires one to ignore Human Nature. They must over look the fact that any Such System requires giving the Government immense amounts of Power, and in the End all Governments are just people, and people are flawed. Power Corrupts. That is why every attempt at creating a True Socialist/Communist/Marxist State has always ended up in Tyranny.

I have told you all repeatedly I am a Republican of the Gerald Ford set of progressive right wing economic conservatives. We are not afraid of regulation; it is only a question of the right type in order to foster competition, protect the consumer, and ensure the safety of the work place.

We are not a part of the so-called Reagan clones who have perverted his vision into no regulation and no taxes while xfring wealth from the middle and working classes to the wealthy. Almost no WWII veteran or their children support that perversion.
