Although they (of course) claim otherwise, they are indeed nothing but communist thugs raised up and trained by the useful idiots in our schools, to be useful idiots themselves.

" Mark Bray, a Dartmouth lecturer who has defended antifa’s violent tactics, recently explained in The Post, “Its adherents are predominantly communists, socialists and anarchists” who believe that physical violence “is both ethically justifiable and strategically effective.” In other words, they are no different from neo-Nazis. Neo-Nazis are the violent advocates of a murderous ideology that killed 25 million people last century. Antifa members are the violent advocates of a murderous ideology that, according to “The Black Book of Communism,” killed between 85 million and 100 million people last century. Both practice violence and preach hate. They are morally indistinguishable. There is no difference between those who beat innocent people in the name of the ideology that gave us Hitler and Himmler and those who beat innocent people in the name of the ideology that gave us Stalin and Dzerzhinsky."

Opinion | Yes, antifa is the moral equivalent of neo-Nazis

"...we should all be repulsed by the sight of our fellow Americans carrying the banners of either movement, whether they are waving the red flags of communism or black flags of Nazism. Yet we are not. Communism is not viewed as an evil comparable to Nazism today. As Alex Griswold recently pointed out, the New York Times has published no fewer than six opinion pieces this year defending communism, including essays praising Lenin as a conservationist, explaining why Stalinism inspired Americans, and arguing that the Bolsheviks were romantics at heart and that women had better sex under communism. Can one imagine the Times running similar pieces about the Nazis?"

To me it is clear the author does not know what the anti fascist movement is or why it came about.

Uh..yeah. Obviously lol.

"Marc Alexander Thiessen (1967) is an American author, columnist and political commentator. He served as a speechwriter for United States President George W. Bush (2004–2009) and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld (2001–2004). Thiessen's articles have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, National Review, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Weekly Standard, USA Today and other publications. He has also appeared on Fox News, CNN, NPR, and other media outlets."

"His mother grew up in Poland and fought as a teenager in the Warsaw Uprising, a military struggle in which his grandfather died.[2]

"Thiessen is a graduate of the Taft School (1985), a private prep school in Connecticut. He graduated from Vassar College (BA in 1989) and completed post-graduate studies at the Naval War College."

I'm sure your understanding is vastly superior.

So far all the methods of dealing with them are wrong.

The anti first amendment antifas need to be encouraged to step up their violence. In order to put them in the perspective they deserve, yes, it might be necessary to accept some deaths.

I am sure the OP does know. It came about as a Communist organization in Germany in the 1920s. Pay attention to the word Communist and observe Communist symbology then and nowadays alike.

Right, the bi-curious dude and frumpy granola chick in helmets and scarfs are just like the white boys on the compound…

A Communist organization LYING about what it stands for, or its guiding principles is nothing new. A useful IDIOT running interference for them, is nothing new either. The only thing that may be new, is which USEFULL IDIOT is running the interference, right tax man-)

Antifa would not exist as it is without Nazi scumbags. They are a reaction not a cause.

So what is your suggestion Einstein?
Are we supposed to allow them spread their racism, hatred and bigotry?

Why don't you tell that to NAZIS, KKK, WHITE SUPREMACIST OR OTHER GATE GROUPS? Which primary existence is only violence kill and elimination of blacks and other minorities?
Antifa was only re born remember re-born because they are being patronize and emboldened by people lIke Koshergitl and her friends. .

At least antifa are not aiming to kill whites or minorities. Only aim is to fight these hate groups.

Your link is just an opinion. It could be that he/she is a NAZIs or KKK sympathizers or has relatives and friends like you.

You know what is horrible with your post? You are attacking people that are fighting a disgraceful racist violent group.
Do you think antifa would have existed without your hate groups?
