In this recent video clip from a news channel’s interview with 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg, it is clear that the young girl has no special insight to offer, only canned platitudes (“If everyone does something, huge changes can happen”). And yet the older male interviewer fawns over his teenage subject as if she is a credible, informed expert and a wise Cassandra whose dire warning we ignore at our peril. He does so not in spite of her youth, but precisely because of it. Why? Because the leftist media, and the left generally, love propping up gullible, politically indoctrinated children as authoritative mouthpieces to promote their agendas.

The reason why the war on drugs was a failure? It was because the ones who were fighting the war was the ones who were smuggling it in. Drugs used to be dirt cheap. But greedy politicians knew if they put it into the blackmarket. That they can raise the prices extremely high, because of how addictive it is. But the public at the time knew that it wasn't a threat, because it was so cheap to buy and seem so harmless. But these politicians came up with a scare rhetoric that cocaine causes Black men to rape White women and gave them better marksmanship. But now trying to legalize it will be harmful to the addicts' children. Because the price is too high for the addictive parents to afford That they will be willing to sell their children's organs or abort their child that they has been carrying for 9 months, just for a small piece of crack cocaine.
