America's Second Test

America's first test was whether it could elect a black President. It's second test is whether it can hold a black President to the same standards as a white President (e.g., Jimmy Carter). If we continue to hold minorities to a lower standard of expectations, are we doing them or the USA any favors? The coming election will say a lot about the status of race relations in this country.
