I wonder what the Mexican term is for people who jump their border without authorization?

The resident immigrant is still in the five year renewal process, where he must re-establish each year that his intention, job, employer, domicile, etc. are all still the same, that he has paid his Mexican taxes (if applicable) and has not been outside of Mexico for longer than permitted and request one more year of holding his status. At the end of the fifth year, the resident immigrant may request that he be given a permanent resident immigrant status, also known as the resident immigrated ("residente inmigrado") status. Once he is given this status, he no longer need to go through the annual renewal process and may stay permanently in Mexico under the status he has. The "inmigrado" may leave Mexico for up to 36 consecutive months without losing his status.

Yes, this country was built by immigrants, when the country was being built we needed them. There wasn't enough people to man the factories and machines. The "industrial revolution". During this time, immigration, LEGAL immigration was good. Unemployment was nill. That was a loooong time ago. Now, with our unemployment numbers, a flood of illegal aliens is very bad for working people. Flooding the jobs market with people that will work for a much lower wage, will work longer hours for that low wage and work an any holiday drives down benefits, working conditions and wages. This puts less money in peoples pockets so they spend less and our tax base is depleted. Less taxes are collected and we wind up with the tax problems that we have now. And since a healthy economy is created and sustained by people making good pay, spending that pay and being able to secure credit, our economy begins to fail and we fall into a res session or a depression. Illegal immigration and the exodus of jobs because of these "free trade agreements" or just off shoring are what is wrong with our economy. Everyone is watching it all happening but they dont understand what the consequences are. They say, "their just looking for a better life". Well I dont care. There are plenty here, legal, that are looking for a better life but with people having to work 3 jobs for peanuts. So I....dont....care. Get out.

These immigrants were being taken to a processing center. That is where all detained undocumented immigrants are taken. Processing centers near the border were at full capacity, so other centers had to be used. That is why the centers exist in the first place.
