Actually your avatar says it all... you're one of those sad people who will let politics trump logic. Sucks for you.

China doesn't have 30 years of 8-10% growth. They were under 8 in 2012 & 2013, and had years under 5% in the 1990s.too stupid there are 100's of developing countries, none with 30 years of 8-10% growth!!
Imagine that... EdwardBaiamonte telling another lie....
You seriously cannot grasp that a huge country that went from picking rice to making iPods over the past few decades would have a higher growth rate
Nice try but that isn't what you said. You said 30+ years of 8-10% growth, which wasn't true they have had years under 5% over the past three decades.Since initiating market reforms in 1978, China has shifted from a centrally planned to a market based economy and experienced rapid economic and social development. GDP growth averaging about 10 percent a year has lifted more than 500 million people out of poverty. All Millennium Development Goals have been reached or are within reach.

I know, you define slow as "someone who caught me lying again"see why we say a liberal will be slow, so very very slow?
Never claimed otherwise, but the forum is used to you addressing whatever pops in your head.dear, they went from rice to Ipods because they went to capitalism

The point was the transition of such a massive country from picking rice to manufacturing is the reason for the growth. It will not be sustainable.

How do I know what you claim?so what did the idiot claim then??

You're all over the place, can't follow a conversation, and are difficult to follow because every other thing you say is a blatant lie.
No, capitalism wasn't the point, man you're like talking to a five year old.dear, as long as you agree that China grew at 10% a year after it switched to capitalism and thus eliminated 40% of world poverty you have learned your lesson.
The point was the most populous country in the world making such a drastic change in their economic system is the reason for hyper growth.
Never said otherwise, but I know it is hard to get children (or adults with child-like minds) to focus.too 100% stupid of course!! The change, most importantly, was from socialism to capitalism.
See why we say slow
We borrow money from China, we buy cheap, ill-constructed toys and utensils from China...we do nothing but send them money for interest payments and cheap goods. No wonder the Chinese economy is now bigger than ours.
Hang on to your hats, America.
And throw away that big, fat styrofoam finger while you’re about it.
There’s no easy way to say this, so I’ll just say it: We’re no longer No. 1. Today, we’re No. 2. Yes, it’s official. The Chinese economy just overtook the United States economy to become the largest in the world. For the first time since Ulysses S. Grant was president, America is not the leading economic power on the planet.
It just happened — and almost nobody noticed.
It s official America is now No. 2 - MarketWatch
What on earth are you talking about? Are you under the impression China no longer has a big government or big regulations? China's political ideology is communism.China's former political ideology of big government control and big regulations called anti-Capitalism.

So because you don't believe they regulate pollution they don't have a big government or are heavily regulated? This country that doesn't let people look at facebook or twitter? That has tens of thousands of government workers whos only job is censor the internet?Yeah that ever so much over regulations on pollution - not.
The communist party in charge right now, the one that rules by decree via central committees where no popular vote is heard to elect, would disagree with you. They went from Communism to Socialism in 1949.
They moved away from socialism to capitalism in their economy in the 70's
