Hulu - Saturday Night Live: MTV Skins

I watched this parody with my 17 year old son and his friend yesterday. My son said he had watched a little bit of the first Skins episode but thought it was stupid. His friend didn't know anything about it.

However, my kid (who is pretty damn smart) said, "It's not like that at my school. Is your school like that Mom?" I told him emphatically 'No".

This is the danger. Even smart kids who think the show is dumb, may think that's what all other kids are doing. God forbid.

I love how they compare the show to "raw sewage" being dumped in your living room. I'm sure the "anti-censorship" folks here would say the same if human shit was being dumped into their kids' favorite swimming hole. "Just don't swim there". NOT.
