7. South Dakota
8. Wyoming

And the bottom 10 are

51. Maine
52. Vermont
53. New York
54. Ontario
55. Manitoba
56. Alaska
57. New Brunswick
58. Nova Scotia
59. Prince Edward Island
60. Quebec

Interestingly, Alaska is ranked as the least economically free state.

And because of this their economy is currently booming and they have low unemployment.

This should be a testament to what we could have other places if we could rid ourselves of the 21st Century disease called Socialism.
