CNN's Copper was startled by gazan rockets and the iron dome response over head, near the border.

People forget about the sirens waring of incoming rockets that go off in Israel. It is not that Israel can casually rely on iron dome, but that hamas is trying to kill Israelis with each rocket and mortar they fire. Each of the rockets found in UN building was intended to fire at and kill Israelis. Each tunnel was intended for use in attacking Israel. These were not defense expenditure by hamas. These were resources that should have been spent to help the people not to wage a battle that would only bring more harm on gazans, even if it was only a psychological blow on Israel or to bring moral outrage from the world for the force of retaliatory action that Israel would need to take. Hamas does not care about the death of gazans, only the negative PR it would bring on Israel.
