Caracas: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is locked in a tense standoff with the United States, arrived on Saturday in Venezuela for talks with his ideological "brother,"(bullshit) President Hugo Chavez.

His regional swing will also include visits to Ecuador, Bolivia and Nicaragua, countries controlled by leftist governments critical of Washington.

In Caracas, the two leaders were expected to sign a series of new trade and economic cooperation agreements.

"Iran and Venezuela are two important allies on a global level, the two countries have important industrial and oil projects, which we will follow up in this trip," Ahmadinejad said before flying from Tehran, according to the state-run Irna agency.

...Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad _ fiery anti- American leaders whose moves to extend their influence have alarmed Washington _ said Saturday they would help finance investment projects in other countries seeking to thwart U.S. domination.

The two countries had previously revealed plans for a joint $2 billion fund to finance investments in Venezuela and Iran, but the leaders said Saturday the money would also be used for projects in friendly countries throughout the developing world.

"It will permit us to underpin investments ... above all in those countries whose governments are making efforts to liberate themselves from the (U.S.) imperialist yoke," Chavez said.

"This fund, my brother," the Venezuelan president said, referring affectionately to Ahmadinejad, "will become a mechanism for liberation."

"Death to U.S. imperialism!" he said...

The "Axis of Assholes."

I wonder if Chavez is smart enough to figure out that there is no place for Godless commies in the plan for global domination by radical Islam.

And wouldn't you just LOVE to eavesdrop on a conversation between those two and try to find even one truth?

Firstl;y, NO, he is not smart enough to realize that and is no doubt being played a fool by them in an effort for Iran to gain a strageic advantage in a friendly locastion on THIS side of the ocean. No doubt Iran sees the obvious advantage in having a friend just to our south.

Hear their conversation? Not really, I would however like to be the cat that discharges the contents of silo tube 1 to their location.

Chavez is such a F***. Just a fool!

Yeah , read about this today. What a couple of lunatics.

We can expand this "Axis of EVil Lunatics" to Kim also

Kim Jong Il (the honourable and divine leader of N.K) , Pres Mahmoud and Hugo Chavez.
If you ask me ...from this Axis..Kim seems the mots strongest contender.
WOuldn't be surprised to see him persuade Chavez to undertake a nuke program and "donate" some missiles to Caracas.

What would the U.S do then? Three fuckers in 3 different regions of the world having nukes!

How about an unfriendly alliance and a voice in the ear of one of the US's major oil providers?
