Pretty much sums it up.....although I haven't seen the mainstream media cover it.

In an Associated Press interview aboard Air Force One on Oct. 19, U.S.
President George W. Bush reluctantly acknowledged that he would accept an Islamic government -- one that implements Sharia law, as opposed to a secular Muslim state -- in Iraq if elections in January are open and fair.
Bush was quoted as saying, "I will be disappointed. But democracy is democracy. If that's what the people choose, that's what the people choose."
