Congress makes immigration law. The executive branch enforces those laws.

I don't what the poem removed. I do want people to follow the law if they want to be citizens.
I don't want just anyone and everyone deciding they can ignore our laws and crap on the nation as their initial act as a
U.S. resident (albeit an illegal one). See if you can catch on somehow. Get a clue.

Heck, make em live in downtown Cleveland for a decade in some house formerly owned by the city. We'd be giving away nothing. Yes, fake conservative businessmen love the cheap labor that illegals bring. They don't have to incur the costs of
supporting, educating, medicating ect. their employees. Just like democrats love the illegals because they represent

I like the idea of making illegals work in exchange for being here (in exchange for not deporting them we green card them and use their labor) but that assumes we can end the flow of new illegals coming in.
I can hear the left screaming about "2nd class citizens" however.

I don't think you have to "make" them work...most here illegally are working, at whatever jobs they can get.

Some type of expanded work visa program is a good idea though.

Actually, according the research I read, a good 75% were collecting federal assistance. That should be cut off completely.
