Aaron Rodgers has gone nuts

The point is why get rid of Carr, if you're just going to get the same level of play or worse from the replacement and likely pay more for it?
they won't pay more for Jimmy G., they'll pay half, or less than half. The one team Carr always wanted to play for was the same team his brother played for, the Texans, and they are in need of a QB. He spent a lot of time around the team when his brother was there and got to know the owner well, who has since passed away.

Jimmy G will get 25-30 million a year minimum from someone. You're high if you think he signs for less than that.

? Im aware that they released Carr. Im talking about his trade value in comparison to Rodgers. Try to keep up.
Uh you mean a team will sign car then Trade him ? ( Raiders woulda taken two 5th Rounders but it was not in the cards with Carr’s contract ) and Rogers has same type of Contract but without Deadline like Carr’s

No. Literally just what someone would give in trade if Carr were signed and on the trade market. You posited the ridiculous scenario where the Raiders would trade a single 4th rounder and have Rodgers restructure his contract. In reply I said that was a silly scenario and that Carr is worth more than a 4th rounder in trade. It's not that hard a conversation to follow.

Half huh?

"Jimmy Garoppolo, free agent

Raiders HC Josh McDaniels might prefer Garoppolo, who played for McDaniels while he served as New England offensive coordinator.

Garoppolo is efficient -- his 99.6 career passer rating is sixth among active passers -- but he is injury-prone, only playing one entire season in nine years. Additionally, he's recovering from a broken foot suffered in Week 12, so Las Vegas must have a solid backup.

Garoppolo is pricey, especially for a player with zero Pro Bowls. Per Spotrac, his market value is a four-year deal worth $34.9M annually. "

Have we seen anything like this is the history of the game? Jimmy G. has a winning rec. overall & made a SB, but gets no respect or concession from people who report on football! It's so fk'n strange after all these yrs.!

I know what you mean but Brock Purdy, the last dude drafted last year looked as good or better than Jimmy G in that offense. JG is a decent QB but he's probably a notch below Carr.

Yet contracts mean the Raiders & Packers will not facilitate trades for picks if Carr & Rogers don’t agree to terms
