So atmospheric CO2 has been at, or very near 400ppm for about a year now. How bad has it been?

Coldest summer on record at the North Pole (DMI)

- Highest August Arctic ice extent since 2006 (DMI)

- Record high August Antarctic ice extent (NSIDC)

- No major hurricane strikes (CAT 3+)for eight years (NOAA)

- Slowest tornado season on record (NOAA)

- No global warming for 17 years (depending on data set)

- Second slowest fire season on record (USFS)

- Four of the five snowiest northern hemisphere winters have occurred since 2008 (Rutgers Snow lab)

- largest YoY gain of arctic ice (nearly 1,000,000 sq km over 2012, DMI)

CO2 induced climate change is a hoax. It will go into the record books as the largest, most expensive hoax ever perpetrated on the population of planet earth.

This has been posted at several places, I believe the original was from Goddard at Real Science HERE

People like you will go down as the most willfully ignorant assholes ever to put their descendents in danger.

Stop breathing all that air from China, and move away from the coast. Global warming is not only good (I live in a mountainous climate that could use a few extra degrees), but here to stay.:eusa_dance:

Actually people like you who have either fallen for the hoax, or know that it is a hoax and argued in its favor for political reasons will the the ones despised in the future. Surely you see the wheels falling off of the AGW crazy train even now. Soon you will have to disappear and reappear under a different name to avoid the justifiable thrashing you have coming to you for your part in arguing in favor of the hoax.

SSDD is habitually resorting to Gish Gallops full o' lies now.

All he's got left is his deranged hatred for all the intelligent people who have humiliated him so often. I wonder how long that can keep driving him.

Tell me, do you really get any enjoyment out of that sort of mental masturbation?

We are at 400 ppm CO2, and over 1800 ppb CH4. Now the present melt in the arctic is much less than in the last few years. Yet we are more than a month away from the maximum, and we are less than 19 of the last 34 years.

This year is turning out to be a doozy for forest fires for the Southwest and the West Coast. And the insurance companies have a good deal to say about the frequency of extreme weather events, as do the utilities.

Extreme weather battering insurance firms? bottom line - Toledo Blade

More than a month away from the maximum and it has already turned cold again. In fact, this is turning out to be one of the coldest arctic summers on record. So much for your hypothesis. How wrong does it have to be before you accept that it is wrong?

This year continues to be the quietest fire year on record.

A report from insurance companies saying how bad it is for insurance companies? Do you believe tobacco companies when they tell you cigarettes are good for you?

You really need to work on differentiating the difference between what is real and what is predicted by failing models.
