A little snow

and my little 1970 VW Beetle and newer 1978 Datsun B210 went through snow just fine . Some years the UP gets the record snowfall for the USA but nowadays the hue and cry is by the safety Nazis to 'Be Safe' . If I could get out of the driveway it was pedal to the metal and time to go !!

the HERD in 'nyc' has been warned to stay inside and shelter in place . Don't bicycle , drive and even walking is being talked about as being dangerous . All businesses are being advised to shut'er down in New York city America , the Land of the Free !! Fat Boy 'christy' doing similar I think as he says that its cold and windy outside . Aww , funny as the HERD Obeys !!

on that VW Bug , the cable to the gas pedal broke right where it connected to the gas pedal . I didn't have the 5 bucks or less for the new cable so I hooked up a Vise Grip to the raw cable end and just pushed the Vise Grip with my foot so it was just about normal operation . ------------ another added benefit was that if caught or stuck in snow you could shorten up the cable by moving the Vise Grip which then gave more RPM because you shortened the cable to the Carb . Advantage to that was that with RPM elevated you could just put the VW into 1st or 2nd gear and then jump out of the drivers seat to push the car out of the stuck situation . Then , you would run after the car , jump into the drivers seat and that's the end of being stuck !! --------- worked pretty good ehh ??
