74 school shootings in the past 77 weeks.

Not 74 chemical bombings, not 74 stabbings, not 74 bows and arrows, not 74 hatchet attacks. The common denominator (do I need to define that term for you?) is guns.

If you Ammo-sexuals want to keep, sleep with and insert your guns into your privates because I really think it's that sick, then figure out a way to stop this epidemic.

This data tells me that the parents of these kids are pretty much out of touch with their kids, so start with them.

Do something besides shoving the 2nd Amendment in my face and whining about your fucking rights. Your rights end when innocent people who cannot protect themselves die.

While the low information left is focusing on the 2nd Amendment, American kids are being doped and subjected to unrelenting violence and carnage by the pop culture media. Doesn't it occur to the left that the son of a Hollywood producer who had every advantage in the greatest Country in the world decided to kill people? It surely ain't about guns. The Columbine kids were doped up on psychotropic mood enhancer drugs and their parents were upper middle class left leaning victims of the pop culture generation. What does that tell you about the video addicted violence orientated generation? Today's American kids see more realistic violent carnage than most WW2 Veterans saw in their four years of warfare. American kids are probably as qualified for a PTSD pension as Afghanistan war Veterans.

And still, you refuse to look at the root cause of these tragedies. Hint: it's not guns.

Bullets?

Of course if you walk into a school with a handful of bullets and start hurling them at children, you're not going to kill anyone.

So it seems that you're incorrect, guns are as much a part of the problem as the bullets they fire.

Better luck next time.

74 school shootings?

Psh small price to pay to avoid waiting times and background checks to buy guns.
When thieves and black market participants adhere to background checks and waiting periods, come get me.

Why would they turn to the black market when it's so easy for them to buy legally?

Is someone going to wake up tomorrow and think "Oh SHIT I have to buy a gun RIGHT NOW or evil psychos will be able to kill me!!!" And then because they have to wait a few days they'll die?

Or, in a much more SANE scenario, maybe they have to wait a week and the psycho doesn't get a gun, and the good person is able to buy the gun after a short wait.

But nah... 74 school shootings is nothing. I only have 30 minutes of free time before lunch to get to the gun store and pickup my rifle after all

Yet 85 shot in Chicago just this month doesn't deserve its own thread. Nor do the 789 shootings this year to date. Why do you hate black people, they don't seem to count in your book.

Well, at least you participated. Fail again. I would wish you luck on your future endeavor of trying to solve this problem but I'd be remiss to think that you would have anything to offer other than spoon fed slop.

The government's job is to protect and serve. It's doing neither. Remove education from federal government and unions. Save your children and your country.

We get it, rapists will rape, and criminals will go where they go to get a gun to commit their crimes. HOWEVER...

The black market is an economy that works like any other economy with regard to supply and demand. As supply goes down, price goes up. Criminals can't get a gun they can't afford.

And the back market starts with so-called "law abiding" gun owners and dealers who sell w/o a background check. Every gun rolls off the factor floor as a legally owned good. At some point a much too high percentage of gun crosses over to illegal possession -- usually when someone is selling to a stranger w/o a background check. If that stranger is on the NICs list or intends on selling it to someone who is -- the gun is then an illegal possession.

If you could go to jail for selling a gun to a stranger w/o a background check and the ATF and State Police were out in force catching people -- this would hurt the black market economy, limiting supply and driving up prices.

Also, if every assault weapon and handgun came with a pink slip, so that a seller had to file a transfer of ownership, just like with automobiles, police could trace crime guns back to a point of transfer -- when it became an illegal possession.

The NRA Nutter talking points are beyond retarded. If there are four lanes at the Airport and TSA only mans three, then which lane are the terrorists and smugglers going to use?

CLOSE THE LOOPHOLES -- CRACKDOWN ON INTERSTATE SMUGGLING AND SALE OF ILLEGAL WEAPONS -- DEMAND THAT ALL STATES COMPLY WITH THE BRADY LAW -- REPEAL THE TIHRT AMENDMENTS.
