The DHS was announced about 9 days after the attacks. Look it up. And it has wasted money, now, under 2 presidents. And not one of the front line GOPsters is talking about trimming it back.
It would, in fact, be news if they spent money wisely. The chroniciling of waste I just posted is one county in one state. I would wager that counties across all 50 states had their hands in the pie. As County leadership, you "job" is to go after all federal funding that is available.
