This is how the justice system makes judgement. They look at who has prior convictions or accusations. If their were no video evidence of the incident. They look at each other records. If the officers has a clean record and the other doesn't. They use that in consideration on how they are going to make their decision. A crooked cop always leaves bread crumbs. But no one never proceeds on filing a complaint. Most people thinks that filing a complaint is worthless. But that is what the corrupt officers wants us to believe. But that complaint goes on their record. That is why people needs to start filing complaint and keep records of it. Every little thing that a person sees an officer is doing. File a complaint, and get the name of the person that they talked to and time and date (Because all phone calls and videos are recorded and goes into the main data base, which it cannot be deleted). But if they keep on little these corrupt cops get away without filing, it is the one that didn't file that should be blame. You better be lucky that you live in a country that you can file a complaint on public officials. Now most big companies has 24 hours recordings, that you can call corporate office to complain to them. For first time offenders for a misdemeanor offense is probation and a fine. And that is the fullest that they can get.
Like Sen.Rand Paul. he gotten broken ribs and all sorts of bodily damage. They were going to charge him for a misdemeanor. And he was a first time offender, so he would of have been just fined.
