24% Of GOP: Obama Is The Anti-Christ

The Tories are on the wrong side of far reactionary conloon history, son. You look to the past, just as the Tories did. Those today of the center look to the future, just as did the Patriots then. You are not anything other than goofy.

There is no such thing as a free yearly exam.
Major fail.

It is if you're old and on medicare, it's free. Better we pay a little up front than wait until they are sick and we all have to pay a hundred times more.

Um, I have had an annual check up ever since going on medicare. WTF are you babbling about?

Most have a co-pay, even on Medicare. Lucky you don't.

babble babble

The future is either freedom or slavery.
Just because we had freedom in the past is no reason to abandon it now.
You are nothing other than a wannabe tyrant.

So are you! What am I?:lol::lol: You make as much sense as JenyE, CharlesS. Come on, son, grow up.

I have two complete physical exams each year with the VA; all of my medical care there is free to me. I have no idea what Medicare offers. Rabbi, thanks if you are paying any part of my medical care through VA. You should: I served to protect your right to act the idiot.

What does that have to do with Medicare?

Fuck you, jerkwad
Oh, and thank you for service

I always enjoy reading unbiased articles. Which is why I think this article is crap.

And.... the title of the thread isn't actually an accurate representation of the information in the article. Well, heaven forfend! I so did not expect that... except I did actually expect that... cuz rdean lacks the ability to accurately portray basic facts.

I feel sorry for rdean. It must be hard to be that partisan and that stupid.

*Ponders whether partisanship and stupidity go hand in hand.*

Man I am going to throw this back in your face the next time you qoute or even comment on a post pertaining to any kind of poll.

Cant wait.
These people are quick to post Rasmussen and FRank Luntz's polls as gospel though.

roflmao.gif

Here's the deal. They will accept any poll on God's green earth if it favors them. If it doesn't favor them they say it's biased, it was made up, it's all lies, and blah, blah, blah. Any excuse will do.

More "poll" information.

House Republican Leader John Boehner Tweeted today that “59 percent of Americans oppose Dems‘ health care reform,” citing a new CNN poll. Either Boehner assumes or he thinks his followers are dumb enough to assume that this means Americans are so outraged by passage of health care reform they will punish Democrats in November and elevate Republicans, possibly even to the point that Boehner replaces Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the House.

But what Mr. Boehner neglected to mention in citing that CNN poll is how that 59 percent opposition breaks down. Thirty nine percent of the country favors the health care legislation as-is; 43 percent oppose it because it‘s too liberal; 13 percent oppose it because it‘s not liberal enough. Meaning 52 percent of the country either approves of the new bill or thinks it does not go far enough; only 43 percent think it goes too far,
after six months of endless fear-mongering and baiting. Boehner thinks that‘s a formula for Republican victory in November. In fact, political reporter Marc Ambider has a post up today at “The Atlantic” headlined, “Republicans in Disarray.”

Why? According to Ambider, quote, “with their entire strategy having been upended by the Democratic health care victory, the party is in disarray. There is no fall-back on health care, none.”

Opinion: Scary new GOP poll - Yahoo! News

NEW YORK – On the heels of health care, a new Harris poll reveals Republican attitudes about Obama: Two-thirds think he's a socialist, 57 percent a Muslim—and 24 percent say "he may be the Antichrist."

67 percent of Republicans believe that Obama is a socialist

The belief that Obama is a “domestic enemy” is widely held—a sign of trouble yet to come.

45 percent of Republicans agree with the Birthers in their belief that Obama was "not born in the United States and so is not eligible to be president"

38 percent of Republicans say that Obama is "doing many of the things that Hitler did"

high percentages of Republicans believe that President Obama is "racist," "anti-American" "wants the terrorists to win" and "wants to turn over the sovereignty of the United States to a one-world government."

------ Respondents without a college education are vastly more likely to believe such claims, while Americans with college degrees or better are less easily duped. It's a reminder of what the 19th-century educator Horace Mann once too-loftily said: "Ignorance breeds monsters to fill up the vacancies of the soul that are unoccupied by the verities of knowledge."

The Marine, Kody Brittingham, a 20-year-old lance corporal, wrote that he had taken an oath to “protect against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.” In a signed “letter of intent,” tucked away in his barracks at Camp Lejeune, he identified a “domestic enemy” he planned to eliminate last winter: President Obama.

it was the nature of the threats that concern them and because the factors behind the increase remain — Mr. Obama’s race prime among them.

We've been saying that. And people ask me why I think Republicans are dangerous.

Is George W. Bush the Antichrist?

Yea, but they weren't being the same kind of serious as the Republicans. Republicans say it as a "religious truth", Democrats, more like "satire". Using such examples as:
Bush policy is based on what he told his Harvard Business School professor— "Poor people are poor because they're lazy." Responds Lang, "Again, anti-Christ. It's just the opposite [of Christ's teaching].

No one believes Bush is a "supernatural being". The Republicans constantly refer to Obama as a "messiah".

Very telling quote at the bottom:

The Union of Concerned Scientists proclaims Bush's lies about science "unprecedented."

During the 8 years of the Bush administration, every reputable science and engineering magazine went on with endless examples of Bush threatening scientists, censoring data, putting party hacks in positions of authority of real scientists.

Hey it indicates you are on the correct track.

Those who are always wrong are a good indicator that you need to head the opposite direction.

Ahh well Bush was the villian at home.
The rest bothered others in other places.

And that poor satan is blamed with everything, including that spawn of satan bush.

Judging by the way the republican polliticians up for re-election avoided Bush they were likely the ones polled in that poll.
