I shot 300 yards today..Did`nt do very good,.Gonna do some adjusting on powder and jump distance..It was 33 degrees,,almost froze.
Hot here.

I'm calling it quits on a so-so deer season, taking a break from the woods, and coming back and hunting hogs in mid-January.

Son just got an AR in .308, and has been loading for it.

Still can't beat factory Hornady though.

Funny thing, my 7x57 shoots anything BUT factory Hornady.

No two guns alike will shoot the same. The Hornady bullets are hard to beat.
My 7x57 makes one ragged hole at 100yds, with Sellier and Beloit 139 RN.

We load the 140 Nosler ballistic tip, and it is very accurate also.

The Hornady "Light Mag" won't group 3".

It only got up to 75° here today-- Was gonna shoot tomorrow but thought I was gonna work so I didn't load
found out @ 4:00 this afternoon that the job didn't make so am off the rest of the week ,,, will load up and poke some holes in da paper...... Got in 100 new Lapa Brass ,,may Sort , Trim & Turn some new brass for my New gun I'm picking up after the 1st....
:Boom2:

Dang scope has went haywire on me..Got a new one on the way.Guess I`ll be shooting big Red for a week .
I am doing my post deer season Spring cleaning, and going on a vacation for a few weeks.

I might come back to a blizzard, I might come back to Spring.

Anything can happen in Louisiana in January or February.

My next shooting sport is going to be hogs, and my M-1A is going to be the tool for thinning them out.
