Makes ya feel all gooey down below huh?

Or in your instance, gooey on your head.

The times, the times they are a changin'. Dylan.

Well well well. It's nice to witness this. Finally. But like the old adage, better late than never. I really believe the change of heart is coming about because R's realize they really can't let Clinton near 1600.

To have congresses support is one step below having the support of San Quentin inmates.

I guess you missed the part about how contentious it was, according to the Wall Street Journal, which is at least a legitimate news agency:

Donald Trump Woos Some GOP Lawmakers, Leaves Others Cold

"""In one of the morning’s most confrontational exchanges, Mr. Trump chastised Sen. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) for criticizing him publicly, saying that up until now he hadn’t personally attacked Mr. Flake but could start to, according to someone familiar with the discussions.

Mr. Flake referred to himself as the “other senator from Arizona—the one who wasn’t captured,” in a reference to Mr. McCain’s time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, which Mr. Trump has diminished. Mr. Flake said he wanted to be able to support Mr. Trump, but found it hard to do so amid the candidate’s stream of incendiary comments.

A spokesman for Mr. Flake confirmed that the meeting’s exchange, as reported first by the Washington Post, was accurate.

When Mr. Trump blamed the media for distorting his comments, Mr. Flake responded that he was referring to direct quotes, according to the person familiar with the exchange. Mr. Flake wasn’t immediately available for comment.

Mr. Trump also belittled Sen. Mark Kirk, the Illinois Republican locked in a tight re-election race who rescinded his endorsement of Mr. Trump last month. Mr. Trump called Mr. Kirk a “loser” and predicted he would lose his race, according to someone familiar with the discussion.

Mr. Trump also said he believed Mr. Kirk privately supported him, but felt he had to publicly disavow him, according to two people familiar with his remarks. Mr. Kirk said he didn’t have any reaction to Mr. Trump’s comments and predicted that Mr. Trump wouldn't win in Democratic-leaning Illinois.

Mr. Trump also faced some tough questions earlier Thursday from House Republicans, who pressed him on some of his most provocative stances, including his early comments that many Hispanics crossing the southern border are rapists and criminals. Rep. Cresent Hardy, a Nevada Republican facing one of the tightest re-election races in the country this fall, asked Mr. Trump about how his campaign style would register in swing states such as Nevada, which has a large Hispanic population."""

Pffffffffft. The Wall Street Journal is part of the Never Trump crowd. As a matter of fact the editor has such a hate on for Trump that he wants Trump to lose so badly that it punishes the voters that backed him.

Imagine that. A Republican wanting to punish the electorate because he didn't like the candidate. Piss on him. Bret Stephens can go fuck himself. Forever.

Would you like to post some links to negative articles about him or just blather?

I stated the facts from the article and it has been corroborated that he got into contentious arguments with those mentioned above. It was not a coronation.

The editor of the Wall Street Journal has come out and flatly stated that he wanted Trump to be decimated in the general and that all who supported him would be punished. That GOP voters need to learn a lesson.

So there's more than a little animosity and very heavy bias on anything coming out from Bret's piece of shit rag.

Here ya go! There's no grey area here.

WSJ Editor Bret Stephens: Trump Needs A Decisive Loss So "Republican Voters Learn Their Lesson"

Posted By Tim Hains
On Date May 31, 2016

In an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria on Sunday, Wall Street Journal deputy editorial page editor Bret Stephens says that he wants Donald Trump to be the "biggest loser in presidential history," so that that his brand of "ethnic conservatism or populism is so decisively rebuked" that Republicans will "forever learn their lesson."

“I most certainly will not vote for Donald Trump,” Stephens said. “I will vote for the least left-wing opponent to Donald Trump and I want to make a vote to make sure that he has — that he is the biggest loser in presidential history since, I don’t know, Alf Landon or going back further.

It’s important that Donald Trump and what he represents — this kind of ethnic quote, ‘conservatism,’ or populism be so decisively rebuked that the Republican Party, the Republican voters will forever learn their lesson that they cannot nominate a man so manifestly unqualified to be president in any way, shape or form.

Well when Congress didn't come out and support him left wing whackos were having a ball saying Trump had no support in Congress. Can't have it both ways can they now?

I agree with you on Bret Stephens obviously since he's calling for the Republicans to lose so bad they don't nominate someone like Trump again. A perculiar position since their history has been McCain, W, W, Dole, HW and HW. Sure, Trump sucks being an anti-capitalist and a rabid anti free trader. But to call for Republicans to go back to ... that? Not exactly a logical point if you ask me.

However, I read the WSJ every day and I don't come away with just that message. I see a lot of opinions, not just that one. I'm not making an argument so much as just saying my observation as someone who has gotten the WSJ for 25 years.

Yep. They sure love him.
You have nothing to fear but fear itself....all this fear the media is attempting to generate is going nowhere....in fact what they will get by doing that is a backlash against hillary...talking about fear? If you are looking for something to stir up fear about...look no further than the hildebeast ...at least if you have any concern for the nation.???

Just another example of poster more interested in their fallacious agenda than the truth. Pathetic.

Yep, no credibility like left wing bloggers have. I see your point

I don't read those either

The leftstream media has you covered, does it?

People are waking up in regards to our to the dishonesty of our major media...if you want to talk about Anti-Americanism...you need go no further than the alphabet media...a national disgrace...and this pathetic situation with the media cries out for a congressional investgation.

You would think a free media would be an enemy of government.

Yet the media in the west is entirely sycophants of government demanding more and questioning less every day. It defies logic and explanation.

I couldn't go along with congress investigating it though. Congress would never demand to be criticized more, it would reek of more government control of the media, not less media adoration of government
