Most of what is classified as "rape" isn't really rape. Girl sleeps with a guy who's a "player" and then gets dumped, so the girl claims he raped her by forcing her to have sex with him. It's her word can his, and she usually wins and basically ruins the guys entire life. Or sleazy girl gets drunk and / or high and is taken advantage of by guy with low standards at a party or a bar. The next morning she tries to save face by reporting that she got raped because her friends saw her leave with a guy she just met.Justice Department: 1 in 5 Women Sexually Assaulted in College | Inside Higher Ed
According to the DOJ, about 1 in 5 women on college campus' around the US are sexually assaulted.
So tell me, why are liberals so gung ho about a college education since they have become the #1 enemy of the Metoomovement?
The problem is rape. An education will always be desirable. Judging from what I see on USMB, it is necessary. Do you want to tackle the crime of rape, or do you want to keep female people from getting an education? Some cults want to produce uneducated girls for sex purposes, so they can be "wives," spreading their legs at the will of their "husbands." Education is the answer for producing independent young women.
There are other scenarios but you get the drift. There is a certain amount of caution and modicum of safety that women have to also follow.
