Your ignorance of the law knows no bounds. Which Democrats did he catch and kill stories for? Schwarzenegger is a Republican. Did Pecker actually pay out money on his behalf. Did Arnold report these entries as campaign contributions?

When you pay out money to help a political campaign, that's a "campaign contribution" which Trump needed to report. Pecker testified that the Enquirer's lawyers went ballistic when they found out what Pecker was doing and told him it was illegal. That's when Pecker called Trump and told him he was "not a bank", and he couldn't pay out any more money.

Pecker's testimony, and that of Hope Hicks, blew Trump's entire defence right out of the water. And because both of them said nice things about Trump and nasty things about Cohen, makes their testimony all that much more devasting. Because they're not "former friends" or "disgruntled employees" with an ax to grind.

All of the witnesses against Donald Trump are past or present employees or business associates. IN EVERY SINGLE TRIAL.

You can't cherry pick one line, and ignore all the other overwealming evidence this was about the election.

He was not convicted... do you go to trial to punish a crime or to embarrass someone?... what Edwards did was not illegal if it was half of DC would be in prison today...

Read the indictments again. It's the money that defines the crime. Campaign finances are not used legally to pay off prostitutes.
