Red State! Amen.

As a conservative, I don’t frequently support unions, but I do agree that there is a good reason for the existence of Unions.

I’m not convinced that, for the most part, it is appropriate for any local or state of federal official to get mired in a labor dispute between a Company and its employees’ union. I say the same about a mere mayor-elect.

I also believe that Starbucks’s coffee is way overpriced for a so-so product.

In this case, though, as a mere visceral reaction, I kinda believe that if Zandami is for a boycott, then I’m against it.

I’m conflicted. On the one hand, I’m not a fan of Starbucks. On the other hand, I wouldn’t want to support the nonsense spewed by Zandami.

I wish he'd come to the Southwest. He could live on the food that would come his way....for a year.

Nobody would really hurt him. He needs to be front and center as it's going to make the mid-terms that much easier.

I have not been to a Starbucks in over 20 years. Last time I went to one, we went there on break every day during an intensive work cutover for the pickup and I got a large Mocha Latte for $5.00.

Damn, I guess that means that now, idiots are plunking down $10-$12 for a cup of coffee there.

Maybe Zamdani ought to be campaigning for more affordable coffee for everyone?

He probably just wants those highly skilled baristas to make as much money as possible so they can start paying taxes to the Almighty Government.

I haven’t used the balance I still have on an old Starbucks card I have; and the last time I used it was long before I retired and moved South.

Using the power of government to control unions, is that fascism?

Apparently, from what I understand, Starbucks is going to close "all" of its stores in the New York Burroughs and go elsewhere. Working in businesses like Starbucks, or McDonalds, or some other fast-food company was never meant to be a "career choice," but a temporary job while their young employees seek to find an actual career generating occupation, so demanding living wages for its employees would make their coffees too expensive to purchase at all. Its products are already too expensive, but acceptable, "at times."

I worked for a public defenders office for several years. The staff chose to try to unionize. For the protection of the jobs of the younger lawyers, I agreed to vote yes on unionizing. The management reacted very badly and did things which are forbidden.
So, I know unions serve a legitimate purpose. The NLRB exists for at least a valid purpose. But not to take sides in a strike.

I have no memory of ever being a Star Bucks customer. One reason is for the most part, I am not a coffee drinker.

God bless you always!!!
