Are there any youth coaches here? What is your philosophy on coaching youth? Discuss.

I have a kid that plays sports, but I have never coached.

My kid just got done playing in a league where they coached themselves. . . I particularly liked that league. That one was awesome.

I coach youth basketball. Have a nice crew of 5th graders. Just curious what other coaches think about player development, etc.
