I thought by now the gun lobby would do something about this problem and up until now I trusted them to be in charge and make things happen. But they thought it was easier to buck everything and hunker down and call for everyone to be armed. Frankly, I don't know what way this is going to go and frankly, I don't care anymore. Columbine is going to have its 16 year anniversary in January and Newtown will have its 3rd in December and nothing has been done. I trusted the NRA to get out in front of this and protect its interests but they weren't interested. Now I'm not interested anymore and if the government wants to get stupid and require registration I'll register my weapons and I won't complain. If they want to charge $500 to everyone who buys a gun for a brain scan, I'll pay that too. I just want something done and I don't care what it is. Something has to change.

Which would be fine if it did one thing to stop mass murders or murders in general, but it won't.

Obama doesn't count bodies. He could care less how many. It's how large the story is. The larger the story, the better chance he can get more sympathy from Americans.

He is calling for new gun control laws. Yeah, I know. Shocking.

That place was a gun free zone.

There are so many other dangers that people are more likely to encounter, but no fuss over that. We just had a school bus accident here today. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, but parents are again asking why buses don't have seat belts.

The root problem of these shootings is not guns. We've always had guns, but we haven't always had a bunch of people with a complete lack of regard for others and a large number of crazies who previously were prescribed medications.

That's the way it works with Democrats.

You can't say squat about Obama's policies or attempt at policies without being called a racist by the left. But when Democrats support an organization that was founded by a person that wanted to wipe out the black race, and they follow her message by having abortion facilities in black neighborhoods, that's okay. If an insane 20 yr old kid wants to take out a bunch of students, and doesn't have access to a weapon, he will get creative and find a way. But nooooo! its the guns fault!
