Your guide to manmade climate disasters in the world today

Hey JC...one month straight now of ball busting cold here in NYC....wtf?!!:dunno: Relentless...damned salt on the roads...sucks.

How about out in Chicago?
I saw that. We had the first ice storm of the season yesterday. So much fun. I mean, since it's during the warmest decade in the books and all. LOL!

Hang in there brother, we're getting closer to actual warm and not someone's wet dream.

Consider all the beer in the whole world that was brewed with steam power or better since 1796 AD ... for all that burning of fossil fuels, for all that beer, and we only have a single degree rise in temperature ...

Anyone except a Methodist would be fine with that trade-off ...

Math is hard ... using beer-units helps ...

So man made climate change is ruining crops. For maga morons that means higher prices. IlL repeat that HIGHER PRICES.

Of course the US will be ok. Trump will just sign a decree to lower prices. I dont know why he hasnt done it with eggs yet ?

Why are you believing The Guardian? ... bad weather has always been destroying harvests ... the Industrial Age with it's fossil fuel burning actually reduces crop failures, and reduces the price impact on foods ... we've quadrupled human population through this "supposed" climate catastrophe ... wow ...

But I'll bite ... why does one degree rise over 100 years cause crop failures? ... we don't even use the same varieties than we did 100 years ago ... for the record ... the food I grow is the same price ... what mega-morons pay is higher transportation costs ... you should buy locally grown foods ... or are you some kind of city-slicking flat-lander who doesn't know how food is produced ...

"350º for 37 minutes" ... presto, you have food ...

Man made? How

Too funny. The right not to know s fiercely protected by a Prez owned by big oil.

Do you know where the electricity came from so you could post this? ... burning that Russia gas? ... you should be ashamed of yourself ...

I learned Big Oil was bad standing in a gas line waiting three hours to buy 5 gallons ... this was before your were born I guess ...

Well, while in Dallas this Thursday, one colleague rented an EV and found out quickly how utterly useless they are in cold weather. He experienced the EV realization of power loss in hours of no use when under 20 degrees f. Charge went from 98% to 10% during his dinner. Then getting the next charge in the cold with no experience. He told me, the lesson he learned from this, not going to EV at all ever!

This was in Texas not Chicago. Imagine that everywhere it drops below 20, an EV will ultimately fail

In a totally predictable move trump pays off his oil friends by cancelling an important wind project. Maybe the renewables industry should have invested in trump?
He would have been a snip at any price.

Didn’t you demofks say that the oil companies were investing in wind and solar? So the opposite is true

Excellent! The fewer tax dollars wasted on wind energy the better.

Plants love conditions conducive to growth. As man made climate change takes hold some will thrive and some will not
I hope that isnt too complicated for your tiny maga brain.

NASA thinks plants love more CO2 in the air, why do you hate CO2 so much, did they steal one of your biscuits?

Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth, Study Finds

Excerpt:

From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25.

An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries led the effort, which involved using satellite data from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer instruments to help determine the leaf area index, or amount of leaf cover, over the planet’s vegetated regions. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States.

The LA fires. Chalk another one up for man made global warming. Despite growing evidence the modern day Canutes are still trying to deny nature.

NO, it was mostly the fault of leftist democrats who neglected to maintain their brush and build firebreaks failed to have water on hand to control it.

Carbon pollution only kills humans ... the rest of the planet rejoices ... see how wildlife thrives in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone? ... no humans ... we're the last diseased bud on a dying branch of the Tree of Life ... an evolutionary dead end ... we shouldn't be as selfish as the dinosaurs and make God destroy 7/8's the planet surface ...
