only on 4 right now but thanks for the heads up, guess you can't win them all and every show has some that are just not that goodI enjoy the series - quite a bit. Jon Hamn is a brilliant actor and an ideal fit for the role.
That said - the last episode turned me off. Although it was intended as comic relief - taking the hosts out of the Tabernacle while in the Church and passing them to each other as crackers was a silly. It could have been humorous for dogmatic atheists/agnostics - but likely offensive to Catholics.
But for those with higher understanding - the show simply made a mockery of itself - it was clear as day that the scene was put in to create shock and discord - it belittled the characters themselves - and what was once an intelligent show instantly became the equivalent of a silly Late Night show that went terribly wrong. Disappointing.
I’ve watched all of the episodes that have dropped so far. As the old saying goes, to make it “relatable” what you most often see on commerical (Apple doesn’t have commercials--by that I mean television for the masses)is an average. You seldom see the absolute extreme of anything; atrocities, extravagance, etc.... While I imagine the extravagnce displayed in the show is the average--I’m guessing it’s the high average--it stresses the imagination that there are probably idle rich that are even more aloof than those featured on the show. I know a lot of doctors and the arrogance of the money is quite pronounced. One has what she calls a “household affairs manager”--her term. Its lie she has subcontracted the parenting.
Agree completely. I kept asking myself, was that necessary to move the story forward in an interesting manner?I enjoy the series - quite a bit. Jon Hamn is a brilliant actor and an ideal fit for the role.

Series makers don't get to see who will be audience favorites until after it is released - HOWEVER - I would have thought they would see the value of Choi's story line, and it is much more interesting than the screen time highlighting Coop's wife played by Amanda Peet. Her character's story is not as interesting. I think they should have known this.Agree completely. I kept asking myself, was that necessary to move the story forward in an interesting manner?
Quit watching at that point.
