I was watching Pimpernel Smith a few days ago and got to thinking about this.
My faves are in no particular order -
In Which We Serve - Noel Coward fights the Nazis at sea. Stiff upper lip.
Battle of Britain - One of the best British films ever.
Missing - Jack Lemmon searches for his son in Chile after the CIA coup.
All through the Night - Bogey fights nazis in New York.
To be or not to be - Benny/Lombard version
In the Heat of the Night - Sidney Poitier schools stupid racist southerners.
Pimpernel Smith - Leslie Howard busts intellectuals from Nazi camps before the war.
Black Books - Dutch resistance fights back.
All of these offer a condemnation of fascism.
Several others that I cant recall the title.
