It is only authoritarian when you disagree with them.
The counter isn't always the truth. But it's a typical retort of the lazy.

Not actual data, but through articles about members who have been harassed and threatened. If you have data showing otherwise, feel free to share.Do you have data to back up that claim?

Actually, I think it’s pretty lazy to yell “authoritarian” everytime you disagree with policy. The counter isn't always the truth. But it's a typical retort of the lazy.
Just inviting you to counter it.You made the claim, why should I have to do your legwork?

He's not at odds with parents.
He's with them.
It's the schools he's at odds with.
As you wish. I already said in my initial response, I don’t have data and invited you to counter the claim with anything you might have. Totally your choice.Again, you made the claim, you back it up. That's how things are supposed to work.

No, I don’t agree with that, but you have to balance it out, public health vs. individual rights. If even one child can be saved, we must wear masks 24/7........

Do you apply that argument elsewhere?
The Governor is giving parents at the local level a say, Dumbass. He is letting them decide if their kids wear a mask or not, not some school board Karen. One minute you are all for the majority who voted for the governor and are “oppressing“ the minority the next you are all about ”oppressing” the minority when the situation is flipped.
I think parents at the local district levels should have a say here.
It's a big word. When the board's position is "fuck the parents", I'd say authoritarian is on the spot.
Oh I get it, let's oppress the minority.
Rebellion against these mandates is strongly encouraged.
Sorry, that is not the way science works. The only final answer is the grave.
