""Moderate Democrat" was a BIG LIE.

"New personal property tax on electric leaf blowers and electric landscaping equipment, large employer tax, gun and ammunition tax, new income tax brackets, a delivery tax."

"This would hit you if you make an order on Amazon, Uber Eats or an order that includes UPS, FedEx, delivery here in Northern Virginia."

"There's also a tax they're looking at for events, concerts, an investment income tax, storage facility tax, gym membership tax, dog walking tax, dog grooming tax, counseling tax, digital personal property tax, new car taxes and highway use fees, an increase in the hotel tax here in Arlington, statewide speed cameras.""

A sucker is born every minute and they vote for bait and switch "moderate" Democrats.
The fools are soon parted from their money too.

Shocker there. Democrats are now proposing DOZENS of TAX INCREASES to send to the FAKE moderate Dem governor.

If you go back to the day after the 2024 elections I predicted this. After getting their asses beat, Democrats would again LIE and run as moderates just as they did in 2008. Then right after the elections, laugh fooled ya'all and come out of the closet as the tax and spend left whackos they always were.

About US State Sales and Use Taxes

Items sold on Amazon Marketplaces and shipped to locations both inside and outside the US, including territories, may be subject to tax.

How Tax is calculated

The amount of tax charged on your order depends on many factors including the following:
  • The identity of the seller
  • The type of item or service purchased
  • The time and location of fulfillment
  • The shipment or delivery address of your order
These factors can change between the time you place an order and when your shipment is complete. As a result, the tax calculated on your order may change. We display an "Estimated Tax" to be collected at Check Out when confirming an order. The amounts displayed as estimated tax may then be updated later when your order is finalized and completed.

The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to or fulfilled from. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if shipped to another state. Moreover, the tax rates applied to your order may also be different for a variety of reasons, such as a shipment to a residential home versus a business address. Also, the total selling price of an item will generally include item-level shipping and handling charges, item level discounts, and gift wrapping charges. If applied at an order level, these charges, may be allocated to the individual items in an order.
If you are ordering from Amazon.com and shipping to a country outside of the US, you may be charged the applicable country tax rate.
Note:
  • No tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.
Items sold on Amazon.com that are shipped to destinations in the following states and US territories may be subject to tax:

That's a sales tax, but what Democrats in Virginia are proposing is another tax for delivery.

My ancestors went to war over taxes now we eat this shit and ask for more. It's disgusting.

Would you want to pay them in your state?
Sure. I dont live where i do because of politics. Im above that. I live where i do because the older i get the more i enjoy the snow and cold. I dont pay attention to the state stuff.

You want to pay the Democrats more state taxes and you don't pay attention. Then why are you in this thread again?

Oh boo hoo. Just sharing my opinion, like you. I would rathet pay higher taxes to live whete i do than to move to the south. I like the snow and cold. Our taxes hete just went up $300 per year. Smsll price to pay.

If you buy something in a store the delivery is embeded in the cost of the item. Amazon gets around it by charging delivery without taxes.

Seems to even the tax among competing companies if I am looking at it correctly.

🤷‍♂️

If you are lucky enough to get taxed by VA "moderate" Democrats, you can be taxed for your Amazon sales and delivery.
How cool is that?
