Let's make both parties pay for their politicians' lies.
Hold party members and leaders EQUALLY accountable for any political fraud
or cost to taxpayers.
Why this business of "comparing" and excusing one because the other is deemed worse?
If one criminal committed murder, while another committed rape and robbery,
would you argue which is worse and excuse the other?
Wouldn't you hold BOTH wrongdoers accountable for the extent of their wrongdoing?
Why this business of letting politicians run free with no payback if they cost taxpayers' money. Would we let crooks run off and charge things on our credit cards and
agree to pay the bill anyway? WTF??? Wake up America!
How much of our debts and damages can be traced to proveable acts of abuse or corruption that could be assessed, charged to specific wrongdoers and paid back?
Why not unite and form legal teams to go after frauds and crooks? And either collect back on behalf of taxpayers, or set up a federal system or party system of issuing credits to taxpayers while the party or govt holds the wrongdoers to pay it back over time.
If Parties want power they have to accept responsibility for abuses of that power.
Same with govt. whoever takes responsibility for redressing grievances and
reclaiming restitution on behalf of taxpayers, that's who has authority to be in charge.
The others who are not will get out of the way.
The ones who can lead will take charge.
Okay lets say that the both lied on purpose to get what they wanted.
Which lie caused the most human suffering? An illegitimate war where tens of thousands of lost their lives, were maimed or, forcing insurances companies to comply with the new rules and making some people choose a new plan? A war that shifted the balance of power in the ME to Iran, or a policy that will cost some people a little more for their insurance? A war the eroded the Good Will of the USA throughout the world or, a Health Care policy that covers previous conditions and has no benefit caps?
Did they both know they were lying or did they both believe what the were selling?
