The Black Caucus members denied saying to Castro America was still a racist country and that America should apologize to the Cuban people. That is just Castro sticking it to us. It is especially rich coming from Castro. The last time I've checked Cuba has been ruled by a white man for the last 50 years. Also Castro allowing the Soviets to put missiles pointed at us should be grounds for an apology. Besides the dictators BS I believe we should have normal relations with the country. As long as there no conditions on it like giving back Gitmo or some stupid apology. Whatever happened to trade and relations spreading democracy? You telling me to keep it real! Cuba is a failed state. The Cuba was able to slightly tread water when the Soviet dollars were coming in, but life still sucked for the average Cuba. Then when the Soviet dollars stopped, Cuba went into crisis mode.

As a communist/socialist, you can pretend that Cuba is a great place to live, but in essence its a failed state!
