"About time we said that you lost the election and now you are not in control. If you even put forth any semblance of working together, it would be different.

I hope the Obama has been playing this one up his sleeve and we see a real overhaul of the broken system that only works for the Health Care Giants and the paid toadies.

Open Medicare for everyone interested. If you aren't 65, you pay a premium for your and or your family. It will force the Big Blues etc to stop gouging US and killing Americans who might lessen their profit.

How willing some be to be the stooges of the the powerful.

If there are indeed 47 million US citizens without health insurance coverage (and the number is more like 15 million), then let him propose a method of covering THOSE PEOPLE and leaving the rest of us alone.

All his plan will bring us is health care that is pathetically inadequate, rationed, available only after approval of a committee of imperfect, biased officials after a lengthy review...while you stand in line...coughing and spitting up blood...or being eaten away by the cancer that will be inoperable by the time you get permission to be treated.

If you want to know what health care will be like under the Obama plan, just go visit any one of the several poorly run VA hospitals that we now operate with the usual government "efficiency". Hang around all day and watch what goes on. Be sure you visit all of the wards and not just those that have been primped up for public relations.

- Continue to allow employers to cut hours and force employees to become contract labor so they don't have to provide healthcare
- Continue to allow insurance companies to deny coverage because of pre-existing conditions
- Continue to allow people to lose coverage when they change jobs
- Continue to allow healthcare costs to escalate
- Continue to allow people to defer preventative and diagnostic procedures because they can't afford them
- Continue to allow insurers to charge exhorbitant rates to small business and self employed

Continue to let the US linger as the 37th best provider of healthcare
