Thomas Brunell, a professor at the University of Texas at Dallas with no management experience, to be the deputy director of the Census Bureau.

No management experience, no statistical training, nothing but a partisan nutjob that thinks competitive elections are bad.

As bad as Bush II was and as bad as Obama was, Trump will do 100 times more damage to the country if he is not slowed down

I wouldn't take much exception to the appointment were the man at least a professor of statistics/math. He's a professor of political science. That makes him someone who's without question used aspects of statistics -- in much the same way anyone who has a PhD has -- but it does not make him someone well versed in the theory and practice of statistics. Then to have no managerial experience....WTF?
