Liberalism is a mental illness.

The funny thing is, the GOP seems more closer to classic liberalism than the left today. They left will always "say" they are liberal, but their actions "say" differently. Right now RFK is making draconian decisions about vaccines and other best practice health guidelines based entirely on "feelings" and legal court decisions involving juries instead of true science....claiming the whole time that the liberals weren't using science. But in truth neither is he....because correlation never has been causation....and some things sound like they are harmful but are rather harmless in the grand scheme of things.... instead of actually starting scientific double blind studies to prove or disprove his own ideas....he just decided on his own what should happen. Slashing budgets everywhere. That same oppositional politics driving him.

The southern border wall....been fought over for 30 years. Both political parties swapping being for or against the whole time...simply because the other side proposed it.

If it was actually ideology that either side of the political spectrum believed in....I could support it. But they dont. Mr. Smith is not in Washington.....he never made it to the ballot.

It’s common for people to say today when contrasting our two major ideological groups, “Conservatives think leftists are misguided; leftists think conservatives are evil.” I, though, am different.
I know leftists are evil.
That is, practically speaking. Theologically speaking, I’m not judging their souls or inborn nature. Putting it plainly, however, and alluding to the reality that leftists have embraced evil, I will say they are so. I’m going to now explain how they got that way, too, and why Bezmenov was right: You will never, ever change their minds.
One more caveat: Because what’s true in principle is not always true in the particular, there are exceptions to the above rule. This is evidenced by the leftists who get “red-pilled.” Now let’s proceed.
It’s common to hear warnings about the effects of modern education’s left-wing indoctrination. We’ve all heard the stories, too, about young people entering college seeming normal and then going haywire — and even, sometimes, disowning their parents over political differences. Yet believing education is the only, or even main, culprit misses much.

Like many others on this forum, I have spent much of my life wondering why Leftists are the way they are. I find it puzzling that two people, growing up in the same household, with the same parents and the same schools, can turn out so radically different.
I saw, when working in Healthcare, extremely intelligent people, Doctors, Nurses, and Technicians who were bright, smart, like-able, and principled in their work, yet were rabid Leftists in their personal life and supported all manner of Leftist policies.
Most often prepared to violate their Hippocratic oath in favor of the Leftist ideology.
Rather than justice, we have seen the Left uses Law as a weapon and only comply to the Law when convenient.
Marxist-Socialist Democrats reject God entirely. Many young people have been deprived of a faith to fall back on, though there are indications they are now searching.
There’s a lot of good content in this article. Oddly enough perhaps, it’s the Leftists who are most intent on inculcating views into young children. Who teaches your children?
For adults, it helps to have some non-political standards. For example, a major inconsistency means that something is wrong. It’s worth learning (and rejecting) the basic informal fallacies, for example the ad hominem fallacy.
The genius of the scientific method is hypothesis testing. One steps outside of reason in order to test reason. Look to see if you are right. It’s an acknowledgment that human reason, while at times incredibly powerful, is fallible.
The fundamental premise of the author is that who you are is often solidified in your first seven years of life. The author observes that "...the “age of reason” has traditionally been considered seven..."

Today's left is a result of the moral decay of this country. We all bear some responsibility, especially the older generations. The biggest responsibility we had was to raise our children to be strong, moral and to think critically. Sadly, too many parents failed this responsibility.

Too many parents willingly abdicated their responsibility to the Government through Government schools.
We should have seen it coming.

Go to a Catholic School you will most likely believe that rights and responsibilities flow to you through God.

Go to a Government school you will think the Government does that.

Add in the social justice curriculum that replaced reading, writing, math and actual science and

Most of this could have been prevented if the systems in place stopped the rise of these individuals from becoming ridiculously wealthy to begin with.

The top 1% of individuals hold more wealth than the 4 billion wealthiest people combined.
And the top 9 corporations own and control 80% of the whole stock market.

Long ago...this was deemed "bad" for the general welfare of the USA. It limited competition and created a situation where people "owed their soul" to the company they worked for. Because every bite of food, every house/tent they could live in, the job they held, the clothes they bought, and any entertainment they might enjoy was literally owned by the same corporation. They owed more than they could ever earn. And it got worse with more debt every month.

The SEC and FTC and the Federal Courts are supposed to stop this from ever happening again with clear case law, and regulations.

These laws have been blatantly ignored. The news media outlets, while often biased, are NEVER going to breathe a word because they too are owned by the 9.

Sounds like we should drain the swamp, get Big Money far away from politicians, overturn Citizens United, and hold politicians accountable when they are corrupt. Sadly, I don't think it will ever happen. It dawned on me a long time ago that politicians do not work for the people that vote for them, they work for the Big Money interests. Their job is not to make our lives better, it is to make the Big Money interests richer and to protect them from the will of the people. Our situation is the fault of both sides, and the voters that keep being faithful to one or the other parties and reelecting swamp monsters and that aren't faithful to them.
