Schools should be run state by state and county by county. If lunatics in the NE and on the West Coast want to ruin their kids, that is on them. I have a feeling that there are some normal families in those states that would kick the lefty loons to the curb.

Sure, they can pay for them. I don’t care, but let’s make sure to put that cap back on the SALT deduction. Those of us in sane states don’t want to subsidize the bad fiscal policy of blue states by allowing huge federal tax deductions of those ridiculously inflated property taxes.

BTW, I benefit from no cap on SALT even though I live in a low property tax state, but since I am not a hypocrite, I am fine with capping the deduction at 10k. Democrats are just the opposite. “The rich don’t pay their fair share” is their mantra and yet those rich Democrats in blue states are the first to get pissed when they are called to make good on their rhetoric.
