I feel safer though I've had Covid TWICE since the shots. Remember when they said "get the shots and you won't get Covid"; they LIED!! BTW; all I wanted was for the severity of Covid be reduced; IF it did that I'm quite OK with it. Though to be clear; I was AWARE that it was experimental. Many were not!!!

I lost three beloved family members and one good friend to COVID. The only one of those four who was vaccinated was my sister and she was already in seriously declining health with congestive heart failure.

I have several other unvaccinated family members and friends who had COVID and suffered long term negative effects for months and months afterward. Some say they never did get over it with permanent damage such as scarring of the lungs and other issues.

A very few of those who did get the vaccinations got pretty sick with COVID but none had to be hospitalized. Most who got the vaccination and then got COVID had a pretty easy time with it if they had any symptoms at all. My 98-year-old aunt got it a few months ago--she had all the vaccinations and boosters--but though she had to quarantine herself for seven day, she never had any severe symptoms at all.

A number of healthcare providers I know personally have said that the worst cases they deal with and almost all of the deaths are all those who are unvaccinated. Of course even the unvaccinated who get COVID can have light cases.

And because there are now hundreds of millions of people around the world who have been vaccinated, it is safe to say the negatives are a pretty small percentage of those.

This is not an advertisement to get vaccinated. That should be each person's personal choice. But in my experience to date, I think the risk of the vaccination is far less than the risk of getting COVID without the extra protection.

The shots did help those hospitalized due to the severe to critical nature of it (6% of all infected) by preventing some deaths.
