Yahoo dropped comments section

It seems that Yahoo has dropped the comments section on most of their articles. They instead offer Twitter, Facebook and other forums.

They did that rather suddenly or did I just missed the warning.

I liked seeing what others had to say about their articles as well as the feedback on ones' posts.

I'm not a fan of Twitter or Facebook so I'll have to just suck it up, I guess.

yeah I noticed that too. Seemed quite sudden.
Some funny comments were there, some really dumb ones too.

Update, Yahoo just posted or I just noticed a disclaimer stating they are having difficulties with the comments section. It will return.

Aww, where else can I put my honest opinions about articles just to have people thumb my comment down and curse me out?
