I never understood that. The almost universally-accepted presumption among Democrats, is that there's some kind of bond between Donald Trump and Russia. But in spite of that, here we have RT claiming that a President Trump would "drive a wedge" between Russia and China.

Of course this is the view of a Russian state-controlled international news television network funded by the Russian government. Their purpose is to disseminate propaganda, right? So why would they criticize a presidential candidate thought of by half the American electorate, to be "sympathetic" to them?

These are strange times we're living in.

Trump promises to drive wedge between Russia and China

"The US Republican presidential candidate has said he would “un-unite” the two superpowers if re-elected

Republican nominee Donald Trump has blamed US President Joe Biden for the deepening of Russia-China ties, and promised to drive a wedge between the two nuclear powers."

Russia and China are gonna be conjoined at the hip so long as the US keeps trying to threaten them militarily and economically. The whole Russia thing is super simple. Prior to 2016 you almost never heard anything about Russia, and if you did it was usually a jab at McCarthyism. Election happens, Clinton loses badly. What do they do from there?
A) Gee, we really messed up. The people wanted a change and we ran literally a nepotistic career politician.
B) THE RUSSIAN'S SECRETLY HACKED THE ELECTION!
Of course they're not gonna admit they made a mistake. They have like five mansions and two yachts each. They all went to Ivy League schools. They're smarter and better than livestock like us, and they don't make mistakes. So if they lost it HAD to be because of some kind of cheating. I remember at first it was that the Russians hacked the machines. Then President Obama came out and said that wasn't possible, so they changed the story to they tampered with the votes, which also was bogus. Finally they settled on, wait for it, THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT TAKING OUT ADS ON FACEBOOK!

tl;dr saying the Russians choose our presidents is an easy way to avoid having to admit that you ran a bad and out of touch campaign.

Dear Mr Salt ,
The traditional view among Normies and Sheeple is that Russia is full of backward , Communism believing and hard drinking Cossack dancers .
We know better . So forget the view of the Clowns .

Rather , don't you think this tactic is all about expanded BRICS?

If the dollar sinks fast enough, America as an economic unit will mirror its path .
That is where we are right now, and the likelihood is that the US$ could lose its reserve currency status quickly , possibly within a couple of years .
Along with the advantages of petro dollar trading.

Moscow takes the view that Trump would be a far stronger opponent of such plans than the other possibility who has a zero entry CV for international dealings , and , on all known form , will be an embarrassment as a President -- albeit actually run by behind the scenes people
imho

Trump wants to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

Was there a problem with conducting business on a global scale in 1987?

"Trump Tower Moscow, also known as the Moscow Project,[1] was a series of proposals by the Trump Organization to develop a Trump skyscraper in Russia.[2] Michael Cohen testified in February 2019 that Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump were regularly briefed about a proposed Trump Tower in Moscow.[3][4][5] Trump Jr. said to US Congress that he was only "peripherally aware of it".[5]

No such project was ever built, but the idea continued to receive press coverage due to Donald Trump's election as president of the United States and the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election aimed at promoting Trump's candidacy. In November 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to US Congress about the Trump Tower Moscow in a prosecution brought by the office of the special counsel.[2]"

Watch the Helsinki Press conference. No further explanation is needed. Trump couldn't do jack shit to either country because Xi and Putin think Trump is an idiot.

And the Trump family continued to do business with China whilst he badmouthed them while president

He owes his 2016 win to Russia. He'll do nothing to thwart whatever plans they have.

Even if your assertion was backed up with any support evidence , what sane chance has Squawker got ?

...and you know that for a fact, because you think along the same lines as Xi and Putin, right?

Go away with your ignorant little fallacies. The last thing Xi and Putin want right now, is to se a second term of Donald Trump.

For some reason Trump is enthralled with Putin

When Putin interfered with the 2016 election, Trump said….maybe he did, maybe he didn’t.
When told the CIA had evidence that he did, Trump sided with Putin

When Putin invaded Ukraine, most of the free world condemned him. Trump called him a Genius and called Biden and NATO weak.

When Hannity repeatedly gave Trump an opportunity to condemn Putin, Trump refused to do so.

Trump blames Ukraine for the hundreds of thousands of death and says they should have just given Putin what he wants.

So? Trump also said on October 19, 2016 when referring to Putin, “This is not my best friend."

And why shouldn't Trump have sold property to individuals with Russian passports in 2017? Was there a law against conducting global commerce? You yourself made that post on a computer that was made in communist China, hypocrite.

Sure.........................

The 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump was formally launched on June 16, 2015, at Trump Tower in New York City.

How convenient.
And why shouldn't Trump have sold property to individuals with Russian passports in 2017?
With Russians...........YES.

Sanctions were imposed in 2016.
Was there a law against conducting global commerce?
No but there should.

Google has produced some computers in the United States, including the Nexus Q and Chromebooks:

  • Nexus Q
Google contracted out the manufacturing of the Nexus Q to another company, but some parts were sourced from American plants. The Nexus Q was assembled in San Jose, California, but the exact location of the plant is unknown.

  • Chromebooks
Chromebooks are produced in the United States by about 60 manufacturers, including Google.
