Should have drilled a few extra holes and added it to their bill.

I've had lazy smartasses spew that old adage on jobsites. I tend to correct them by informing them that it's not an either/or proposition in the first place.

Where is the trap & vent pipe?

The trap is directly under the drain and the vent is the black pipe it ties in right where I cut the abs and switched to pvc

Yes I always have. And yes I can install and fix carpet but I haven't done that shit in decades. That job is even tougher on your body than my job. Knee, back and shoulder killer. **** that shit lol
