Women disappoint the dems

Lots of women split the ticket in states were abortion was on the ballot....They voted for the utility of abortion then turned right around and voted for Trump and other gop hopefuls without a pause.

In fact I would not even call that "splitting the ticket" in the true sense as there are plenty of common sense folks, male and female that did the same thing in those states where abortion was on the ballot.

For some odd reason the dems thought that abortion was their issue, and the women would vote lock-step for Harris and other dems after voting for abortion....Not so at all....They voted their pocketbooks and against leftist policy.

I'm not in favor of abortion, but I like that it is no longer a federal issue that forces everyone to go along with it. Let each state decide.

For a bunch of people who claim that abortion is murder, it seems kind of weird that you’re cool with allowing lots of legalized murder now.

But ok. Sounds like we’re both cool with lots of abortion happening all over the country. I’m glad we came to a compromise on this.

Every state should have it put to the people and the people should insist on it.

It seems to me that since 2022 folks have got their feet under them on the issue and when it's put on the ballot they act as if it's just another bond issue to vote up or down, then they vote for their preferred slate of hopefuls as normal.......Just the way it should go instead of the dems making it a wedge issue.

Abortion will figure itself out. Each state may end up having near the same rules with the extremes of each side neutered somewhat.

How so?

Some states are good with abortion and some states aren’t, just like you want. So how does that lead to fewer abortions?

It’s not about what you want. It’s about what the states want. The people in those states want abortion so they get to have as many abortions as they want, just like you agreed to.

It's a long game strategy. Taking it from the feds and giving it to the states breaks up the national movement. No more pooled money to throw at one state at a time. The rest is just chipping away until it's simply a socially unacceptable practice reserved for emergencies and a few other legitimate exceptions. Ending recreational baby killing is the primary immediate goal.

the whole Abortion thing was to polarize stupid women into getting angry and out to vote for the DemonRats.

While abortion can be motivating, when it comes to not being able to afford groceries, abortion doesn't seem so important.
