My mom raises cattle, just a few for the family. Our 5 year old finally figured out the calf she liked eventually ends up on the dinner table.

I was actually surprised she didn't pitch a fit. Even she understands

I have a nephew that went vegetarian at like 6 years old for about a year, then realized he liked pepperoni and chicken nuggets too much.

Of course we are city folk.

I grew up on a farm, my family hunted and still does. Our oldest son got his first deer a couple of years ago. It's just natural to me and boggles my mind people don't realize where food comes from

This "lurch to the middle" we are seeing is merely an election ploy.

Look at Virginia. They run on "affordability" and then when in power go right for gun control and taxes.

livestock farming ... Means all farming/ranching of chicken, turkey, pig, beef, and "farmed fish" will be protected - can not kill/harvest.
Will put most farming and all ranching out of business, out of state.

I hope it passes! California should do this, too.
