Woman who was wrongly convicted of witchcraft in Massachusetts in 1693 and sentenced to hang has been formally exonerated

Massachusetts was ruled by the UK at the time. I don't think that the Massachusetts state legislature has jurisdiction here.

This matter should have been taken up in Parliament.

In appreciation for the exoneration, she rose from the grave, cast a curse over the state of Massachusetts, and zipped off on her broom.
 
She was never actually executed. That's a relief.
