Women have been in the construction crews forever it seems.
Drywall finishers, floor sweepers, trimout electricians, wallpaper finishing, and etc.

Usually not on flooring crews or plumbing.

Not exactly groundbreaking stuff.

Just as an FYI....they tend to ALL have a side business. And I HIGHLY recommend not engaging with them in it.

They wear super tight jeans or jeans with holes for a REASON. it's not because they can't afford ones that fit.

And, as always, there are outliers. There are also men who are incapable of doing the heavy lifting and hard work required to be, for example, a stone mason. That's not the point being illustrated. The point being illustrated is that MOST women are incapable of doing the physical labor MOST men can do, because biology. Those who insist that women can do anything men can do are simply wrong because ideology does not trump reality, no matter how bad they wish it did. I wish more women WOULD take the challenge. Go ahead, take a hard labor job then come back and tell us how easy it is to do anything a man can do.

You might be right. I was just trying to sugarcoat my real opinion on the matter. I had to lay off many men workers because an inferior female was protected by a quota. I had to put women on the flag when an older, broken down man who gave his health to the job should have received that break. I retired from the construction business and I only saw two female workers that were good during my career. And even those couldn't carry weight or run a jackhammer-helldog, or dig. This isn't to be nasty. It's just the way it is.

One was a dozer operator. Another was actually a foreman. And they were actually good at what they did and respected by the men. They were confident and chill doing what they did. No one doubts that women are capable of doing MOST of what men can do, but there still remain jobs that are almost completely done by men because they are literally too physically demanding for the vast majority of women.

I knew by the age of fifteen that those lefty does were as screwed up or even more screwed up than their hippie bucks were screwed up. Way back then we lived on S. Fischers Mill road, ohh I'd say about 1/3 mile east off the Redland Road curve. Time & again we'd run into the hippies hitchhiking towards Oregon City. Local folks told us way back then that they were holed up on a commune(?)/abandoned farm(?) somewhere north of Fischers Mill rd. & off of Hatten road. Back in 66 thru 68 that area north of us was all conifer treed acreage(LARGE farmsteads/ very few homes save for the the fields that farmers had cleared for cropland, like the hippies must have been existing in conifer forests(where else)???? At first when we seen them hitchhiking we'd let them pack onto the flatbed. That ended quickly when we could not help but to notice their atrocious physical condition & obvious total lack of physical hygiene(disease potential).
