We they just went back to the late 1700s and had their party elites anoint the POTUS hopeful so 1890 is not much of a stretch for them.

Throughout our history MoH cases have been revisited and medals taken away for those who were undeserving of such a honor.

IMHO the recipients of the MoH by participants of the Wounded Knee Massacre should have been reviewed long before now.
