With Trump as POTUS are you going to change anything in your life?

Unfortunately, we knew Trump was a shit sandwich from the last time, so why we ordered the shit sandwich again befuddles me.

Look, here's the thing, I worry less about myself than I do about the country as a whole. I'm an old man, I probably won't live more than a decade or two. (My wife gets very upset when I talk like this.) I'm surprised I've lived this long.
Pretty much in your world, myself. Like you, I know (at 70) it is unlikely I will make much past 86 and that genetics/family history says the last 5 or 6 years will not be memorable, at least to me. It does not bother me knowing this, as I am a realist.

Well, my bigger concern is taking care of my wife after I'm gone. However, last night we had a conversation about her investments in the Chinese stock market, and I am a lot less worried about that now.

Between us, we have well over $730,000 in assets to draw on in our retirement.

You should guys should be fine, though it cost about 32% more to live in Chicago, than Jackson. 32% takes into account, not only food, transportation, healthcare, etc, but includes housing, which is significant. I am assuming, like us, home is paid for, and you have reduced to being at or near debt free.

I am mostly debt free..

Our plan is to move somewhere warmer after we retire, cashing out our home. But we'll see how it goes.

The other thing is that I plan to wait until I'm 67 to retire so I don't take a penalty if I decide to continue one of the side businesses.
